Refunds

14-Day Compatibility Guarantee

Our refund policy is strictly limited to technical compatibility issues that cannot be resolved through our support process.

What Qualifies for a Refund

ONLY Technical Incompatibility Issues:

• JWT Authentication Pro has genuine compatibility problems with your WordPress installation
• Plugin conflicts that prevent core functionality from working
• Server environment incompatibilities that cannot be resolved
• PHP version conflicts (despite meeting our stated PHP 8.1+ requirement)
• Unresolvable theme conflicts that prevent core functionality
• Unresolvable other plugin conflicts that prevent core functionality
• Hosting provider restrictions or limitations that prevent the plugin from functioning

Important: You MUST work with our support team first. Refunds are only processed after our technical support has attempted to resolve the compatibility issue and confirmed it cannot be fixed.

What Does NOT Qualify for a Refund

We DO NOT provide refunds for the following reasons:

Purchase Decisions & Assumptions:

• "I bought this by mistake"
• "I thought it included a feature that isn't available"
• "I assumed it would work differently"
• "I expected it to have capabilities not mentioned in our documentation"
• "I didn't read the feature list properly"
• "I thought it was a different type of plugin"

Subjective or User Error Issues:

• "It's too complicated for me to set up"
• "I don't like how it works"
• "I found a different solution I prefer"
• "I changed my mind about needing this functionality"
• "I don't understand how to use it"
• "I expected it to solve a different problem"

Business Changes:

• "My project was canceled"
• "I no longer need this functionality"
• "My client decided not to use it"
• "Budget constraints"

License Types & Site Limits

What Counts as a Site

One License Required:

• Each WordPress installation
• Live production websites
• Any site accessible by end users or clients

No License Required:

• Development/staging sites for testing
• Local development environments
• Backup copies for disaster recovery

Prohibited Uses

You may NOT:

• Redistribute, resell, or share your license with others
• Use the plugin on more sites than your license allows
• Remove or modify copyright notices
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code for redistribution
• Share your download links or license keys publicly

Support

What's Included

All paid plans include premium support with specific scope and limitations.

Support Response Times

We respond within 24 hours on weekdays, no weekends.

Note: Response times may be longer during holidays or peak periods. Support is provided in English only.

Updates

Version Access

Your license includes access to updates with specific terms and duration.

Update Policy

WordPress Compatibility

We maintain compatibility with:

• Current WordPress version and one major version back
• PHP 8.1 and higher (as stated in requirements)
• Popular hosting environments and configurations

Compatibility updates are provided:

• When WordPress releases major updates
• When security vulnerabilities are discovered
• When significant hosting environment changes occur

Disclaimer of Warranties

JWT Authentication Pro is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind:

• No guarantee of uninterrupted operation
• No warranty that it will meet your specific requirements
• No guarantee of compatibility with all themes, plugins, or hosting environments
• No warranty against security vulnerabilities (though we address them promptly)

Limitation of Liability

Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license:

• We are not responsible for data loss or website downtime
• We are not liable for lost profits or business interruption
• We are not responsible for security breaches not directly caused by our plugin
• We are not liable for conflicts with other plugins or themes

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining backups of your website before installation
• Testing the plugin in a staging environment first
• Keeping WordPress and PHP versions within our stated requirements
• Following security best practices for your WordPress installation

Intellectual Property

• All trademarks, copyrights, and intellectual property remain ours

• Modify configuration settings and styling for your sites
• Contact support for assistance within our support scope

Privacy & Data

Data Collection:

• We use Freemius.com as our license manager, payment processor, and data collector
• We may collect basic usage analytics to improve the plugin
• License verification requires periodic communication with our servers
• Support requests may require temporary access to your site for troubleshooting

Data Protection:

• We do not store your website content or sensitive data
• License information is stored securely and not shared with third parties
• Support communications may be retained for service improvement

Governing Law

Legal Framework:

• These terms are governed by Mexican law
• Any disputes will be resolved in Mexican courts
• If any provision is invalid, the remaining terms continue in effect

Changes to Terms

Updates to this Agreement:

• We may update these terms at any time without notice
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
• Major changes affecting refund or licensing terms will be highlighted clearly
